Tony
Kirwood has the face of a comedian and he
makes his living out of comedy writing and teaching it to others. He
has a book on the subject coming out in April.
A member of
Player-Playwrights for many years we have at last persuaded him to give
us a talk on comedy writing at 7.30 on Monday 17 February at the Three
Stags [intersection of Kennington Road and Lambeth Road SE1 7PZ].
After
the talk we will have four samples of home-grown sketches and stand-up,
each no longer than 5 mins [set the clocks please, Giles] for Tony and
the rest of us to analyse! Then it's back to the bar.
